Mandatory:

-GPA: 3.0 BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math or Computer Science
-4+ years of Software or Firmware engineering on Military Avionic, EW, ISR or Nav systems

-Experienced with a basic knowledge of programming languages and tools (C++, C#, Python, FORTRAN, Visual Studio, Git, JIRA, VersionOne, Agile practices)

-Technical skill with programming languages to include but not limited to ATLAS, FORTRAN, Visual C#, Visual Basic, C++, Assembly

-Knowledgeable with software development architectures (event-driven, client-server, layered)

-Currently held or now have an US DoD Security Clearance
-SW maintenance, test or development to support new capabilities

Very Nice to have:

Embedded SW experience

OFP (Operation Flight Programs), Test program Set, MDG (Mission Data Generators)

DRFM and FPGA experience

Experience on: Jammers or any ALQ system; RWRs or any APR/ALR system

Masters Degree
DoD SW modifications, development, and test

Radar and Electronic Warfare Technician

Objectives of this Role:

  • Provide technician support for the verification and validation of Electronic Warfare Pods to ensure software modifications successfully meet the functional requirements.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and application of RF and EW principles, concepts, and standards, and full knowledge of industry practices associated with the same.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Conducts, observes, and/or schedules standardized or customized tests and ensures compliance with test parameters, specifications, and deadlines.
  • Obtains and records data or ensures that data has been captured by an automated system.
  • Performs computation and data manipulation and assists in preparation of final test reports.
  • Conducts analysis to check applicability, accuracy, and reasonableness of data.

Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Electronic Warfare training through the Military or related is helpful
  • Radar System training/certification preferred
  • Shift work required
  • Demonstrated experience in the operation and/or sustainment of complex military electronic systems – ideally radar & EW systems
  • Operational knowledge of various types of test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, and frequency counters
  • Experience performing technician related functional analysis associated with the evaluation of EW system performance
  • Demonstrated experience creating technical reports and perform data analysis utilizing Microsoft Office products is highly desirable
  • A valid/clear driver’s license is required

0-5 yr RF/EW Research and Development Engineer

  • Experience with architectures, functions, and interfaces for EW and avionics systems
  • Perform development of requirements, design, build, and testing of engineering hardware, software and firmware systems for legacy EW weapon systems and advanced technology EW platforms
  • Algorithm Development
  • Model and Simulation in Rader/EW environments
  • Experience with creating and performing hardware and/or software test cases
  • System improvements/R&D to Electronic Warfare and defensive systems of aircraft, including radar warning receivers, ECM jammers, and ECM dispenser systems.
  • Perform development of embedded architectures, single board computers, hardware and software in the loop implementation and testing, and aircraft mission systems
  • Understanding of antenna design/analysis, radar signal processing, and radar requirements analysis
  • Perform research and development of embedded systems in signal processing, telecommunications, machine learning, and RF/EW applications
  • Interact directly with project team, project management, and technical customer to fully understand the task objectives, and successfully meet or exceed quality, cost, and schedule goals.
  • Perform laboratory testing, field testing, and troubleshooting of system performance and system effectiveness.
  • Requires an Bachelors with a 3.00 GPA in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience or courses in software engineering, electronics, circuit design/test, signal processing, object oriented architectures, and object oriented design is required
  • Experience in EW, LabView, C++, C#, MATLAB, firmware, FPGA programming, data links and comms, open system architectures, ML/AI/Data Analytics huge plus
